Conceptual Art

Adam Daley Wilson’s conceptual art practice spans language, painting, installation, performance, video, writing systems, and public-interest law.

His work experiments with how meaning can be made, embodied, preserved, and transmitted across art, language, institutions, and time. Current work includes new cave paintings, spatial writing systems, text-based painting, performance, and projects concerned with the preservation of human meaning in an age of AI.

His art practice is represented by ENGAGE Projects, Chicago.

Adam Daley Wilson is a self-taught artist with traditional degrees: He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Franklin S. Van Antwerpen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He practiced antitrust and appellate law at leading Am Law 100 firms including Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in San Francisco and Crowell & Moring in Washington, DC.
