Appellate Law

Adam Daley Wilson is an appellate lawyer whose practice focuses on appellate strategy, written advocacy, dispositive motions, constitutional law, legal ethics, and complex legal questions.

His legal work also informs his broader inquiry into constitutions, citizenship, public institutions, public-power behavior, answerability, human judgment, and the role of law in preserving constitutional principles and norms.

His appellate practice is separate from, but intellectually connected to, his conceptual art and emerging work as an art and constitutional theorist.

Adam Daley Wilson holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Franklin S. Van Antwerpen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He practiced antitrust and appellate law at leading Am Law 100 firms including Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in San Francisco and Crowell & Moring in Washington, DC.
